OUR HISTORY
Kelab Sokongan Pekerjaan Autisme, also known as Supported Employment for Autism (SEA Club) is a space where adults with autism can work, learn, and grow with dignity. It was officially registered with ROS as a non-profit NGO in 2020 to facilitate and support adults in the Autism Spectrum to work in a Sheltered Environment and also enable them to socialize and engage in indoor and outdoor activities.
Its founding members, who are parents of Person With Autism (PWA), were determined to build a future for their adult children in the Autism Spectrum.
From 2001 to 2018, they pioneered the establishment and management of an Early Intervention Center and a Vocational Training Center, filling a critical gap in education and skills training. As their children transitioned into adulthood, it became inevitable that they had to move forward with the next challenge i.e. supported employment with the formation of SEA Club.

BULLETIN BOARD
Sea Club Weekly Basketball🏀

Sea Club’s weekly basketball session is a regular fixture where we come together to play, move, and enjoy the game as a team. A simple tradition, but one that keeps the team connected week after week.
Quiet Details: Case Studies with Ms Jackie Ang

In conjunction with International Autism Awareness Month, we were honoured to have Ms Jackie Ang who talked on Quiet Details Case Studies. The session was about recognising the subtle signs, quiet struggles, and unique strengths that are often missed in everyday settings.
Together We Walk 2026 💙
SEA Club was honoured to take part in Together We Walk 2026 at Taman Jaya, Petaling Jaya on 25 April. It was a meaningful event celebrating inclusion, friendship, and dignity for all.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the organisers, the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur’s Special Needs Ministry and SSVP, for creating such a warm and welcoming space where everyone could come together as equals. Events like these remind us of the importance of compassion, understanding, and community.
Thank you for having SEA Club as part of this beautiful initiative.
A Heartfelt Thank You

A few months ago, SEA Club was deeply grateful to receive a generous donation from Puan Sri Lynda Latimer. We would also like to sincerely thank Mr Joseph for taking the time to visit SEA Club and personally present the contribution to our community.
Support such as this helps us continue our work in providing a supportive and meaningful environment for adults on the autism spectrum. We are equally thankful for the many other donations and contributions we have received from individuals, families, and friends of SEA Club over the years every act of kindness plays an important part in helping us keep our programmes and activities going strong.
Thank you for believing in our community and supporting the work that we do.
FIRE SAFETY DRILL
On 25th February, SEA Club welcomed a team from Bomba Petaling Jaya to conduct a fire safety briefing and drill at our premises. A fire engine and a seven-member team of firefighters guided us through important safety procedures and assessed our readiness in the event of an emergency.
Following an introduction and briefing, the Bomba team inspected the premises and provided several recommendations to further strengthen our safety measures. They also advised SEA Club to conduct fire drills every six months, appoint a Fire Marshal, and ensure that headcounts are carried out at the assembly area using an attendance list during evacuations.
The Bomba officers were pleased with the placement and selection of our ABC and CO₂ fire extinguishers, and shared useful guidance on their use. They explained that ABC dry powder extinguishers release powder over a wider area, forming a cloud that spreads easily, unlike CO₂ extinguishers which are more targeted. They also encouraged those who have not used a fire extinguisher before to gain practical experience during training.
SEA Club thanks Bomba Petaling Jaya for their visit and valuable guidance in helping us maintain a safe environment for our community.

SEA Club is delighted to share that our Charity Bazaar #3, held on 30 November 2025, was a wonderful success thanks to the incredible support from our community, families, neighbours, and visitors. The charity bazaar featured a wide range of freshly baked items and handmade crafts that were made due to the tireless efforts of PWA. Antiques, paintings, books, and quality pre-loved goods were also available for purchase. Beyond fundraising to help sustain their programmes, the annual Charity Bazaar serves as a meaningful platform to deepen the connection between PWA and the wider community.
